A thousand irritating faults
Love calls us to forebear
They grate like sand blown in our eyes
Or pebbles in our shoes
The inconvenience seems so great
Until we turn and look
At all the pain our own sins brought
To Him who holds us dear

Newborn Wonder
Powerful Kindness
His kindness
humbles me
draws me near
makes me own the sin I hate
gives me mercy
I don't deserve
humbles me
draws me near
makes me own the sin I hate
gives me mercy
I don't deserve

Your Words
Your Words to darkness bring a light
To stormy souls a calm
To blinded eyes a sudden sight
To wounds a healing balm
To stormy souls a calm
To blinded eyes a sudden sight
To wounds a healing balm
Fleeting
Short-lived and shallow are the joys
Of those content with gath'ring toys
That fade and break and rust
Much wiser then, we all would be
To focus on eternity
And seek the things that last
Our days are quickly passing by
A breath that's fleeting- then we die
To meet the One who's just
So seek your Maker while you can
Embrace His Son and you will stand
By grace when this life's passed.
